What is TaskStream?
TaskStream is a web-based subscription service that offers an interactive desktop featuring an intuitive suite of tools for creating, organizing, tracking, and sharing standards-based lessons, units, electronic portfolios, and web pages. TaskStream’s robust collaboration tools make it easy to share these products with instructors, mentors, administrators, colleagues, and peers for feedback or evaluation. K12 educators, education students, credential candidates, and instructors, and administrators all use these tools to support their own progress.

TaskSteam, The Tools of Engagement. You will purchase a subscription to a web-
based desktop to create, organize, track, and share standards-based educational
materials for K- 12 educators and teaching candidates.
To be a successful teacher today, you must possess a wide range of knowledge and
skills. While demonstrating proficiency and teaching readiness can be a daunting
task, TaskStream makes it a manageable and rewarding process. Whether you are
creating standards-based lesson plans, developing in-depth units of study, or
building professional portfolios, standards integration is straightforward using
TaskStream’s web-based suite of tools. Simply put, the seamless integration of
the TaskStream tools will guide you through the preparation process, making you
better prepared for your teaching responsibilities, and serving as an invaluable
resource throughout your teaching career.

1. Obtain a subscription to the TaskStream tools for the appropriate length of time. You may purchase 1 semester, 1 year, 2 years, or longer subscriptions. If you will student teach through the College of Education, you will need to purchase a 2-year subscription. If you student teach through Ag, Music, Art, or FACS, you may want to purchase a 1-semester subscription only. There are two ways you may purchase subscriptions:

Workbook (with access/key code). Depending upon how long your
subscription will be, you may purchase:

2. Attend an orientation workshop on how to use TaskStream. If you do not take EDIT33 18 in the spring, you should attend a TaskStream Workshop. Workshop dates, times and places will be announced in your classes and through an email announcement. You should purchase your TaskStream subscription before attending the workshop.
3. Use Taskstream to create a Resource Folio. Save all your course assignments
in TaskStreain during the teacher education program. You will utilize those
assignments when you create your Graduation/Certification ePortfolio at the end
of your program.
