Description:

    The Application is filled out by prospective Teacher Candidate the semester prior
    to their student teaching.
    EX:
          1. Spring Teacher Candidates apply the previous Fall in the month of October.
          2. Fall Teacher Candidates apply the previous Spring in the month of March.

Description:

    The waiver bubble is completed by the Teacher Candidate during the semester of student teaching.
    The Teacher Candidate should complete the waiver bubble BEFORE the mid-term evaluation is completed,
    however it is preferred that the student complete the waiver bubble during the first three weeks of
    January for the Spring or August for the Fall. The waiver bubble gives the student the option of
    choosing an open or closed file for the purposes of employment upon the completion of student teaching.
    An open file indicates that the student will look at the final evaluation. A closed file indicates
    the student will not see the final evaluation; that they waive their rights to see it. School districts
    prefer a closed file to ensure integrity of the evaluation.

Description:

    Both the mid-term and final evaluation are completed by both TTU university evaluators
    (employees of the College of Education) as well as classroom cooperating teachers
    (non TTU employees). This site is accessed by hundreds of people and measures student
    performance during their clinical experience of student teaching, required by the
    State of Texas. The final evaluations submitted by both evaluators are sent to the
    TTU Career Center as well as school districts across the world for student teachers
    trying to become employed with the district.

    The waiver bubble choice will be noted on this evaluation.
