Criteria for Award
This $1000 competitive scholarship is expected to be awarded
to at least five students each calendar year who
- Are incoming students into the College
of Education seeking a doctoral degree;
- Have been admitted to Texas Tech
Graduate School and plan to enroll in one of the doctoral
graduate degree programs of the College of Education (See
degrees offered below);
- Have a record of documented academic
excellence;
- Have documented financial need;
U.S. residents
must complete and submit the Free Application for Federal
Student Aid or the Renewal Free Application for General Student
Aid applications to the financial aid office before being
admitted to the College of Education.
FAFSA forms can be completed online at the
FAFSA Website. Yearly
renewals can also be completed online at the
FAFSA Website.
International
students must provide other documentation of financial
need.
- Enroll in 6 doctoral credit hours per
semester.
